Book One: The Legend
Book One: The Legend sets the adventure in motion as Andrew MacLean, the leader of his king's army, discovers an exquisite sword during battle and is told by its dying protector of a legend hundres of years old. The legend tells of a righteous king, Robert DuFay, for whom six pieces of armor, representing the armor of God, were created as a tribute to his wisdom and goodness. However, generations laters, his posterity's faith dwindled and the pieces of armor were scattered and lost during an invasion. In order to restore peace to the land, as the legend goes, all six pieces of the armor must be returned to the rightful heir of Robert DuFay who will then retake the throne of his ancestor. Andrew is charged with finding the heir and relinquishing the sword to him. After being banished by his king for refusing to give the sword to him, Andrew sets off on a quest that is beyond anything he could have imagined.
Book Two: Fallen Kingdom
In Book Two: Fallen Kingdom, having escaped from being wrongfully imprisoned by his host, King Richard Talbot, Andrew learns that his former king Edwin Gallard is hot on his trail in pursuit of not only the sword, but all six pieces of the armor. Andrew finds himself caught between two kings who will stop at nothing to obtain the DuFay Armor for themselves in order to lay claim to the ancient throne and its power. During a mission to rescue King Talbot's kidnapped daughter, Andrew has a chance encounter with someone he thought long dead. With the help of his old friend, and his two newest friends, Andrew's rescue mission is a success, but not without a dear price being paid. Now Andrew must convince King Talbot, who believes Andrew to be a spy, that his kingdom is about to be laid seige to and the king must be prepared to defend his homeland. Andrew's resolve, and faith, are tested as he must guide his friends on a dangerous escape which could just as easily lead to their doom and in the end, he loses one of his closest companions.
Book Three: The Heir
In Book Three: The Heir, Andrew, with great reluctance, must return to his homeland at great risk to his own life in order to protect the one he believes to be the heir of Robert DuFay and deliver the sword to him. As was feared, Andrew and his friends are discovered by Gallard's men and are forced to fight for their lives and just when all hope seems lost, find help from an unlikely ally. Once again, Andrew finds himself on a rescue mission to save the throne of DuFay. Believing his quest to be over, Andrew is resolved to set roots and begin a peaceful life. However, as before, he finds himself forced along a path not of his chosing. This time, the path reveals to Andrew more about himself than he ever wanted to know. To ensure that only the rightful heir of DuFay sits on the throne and peace is established, Andrew is forced to make a momumental decision that will impact not only his life, but also the lives of his friends and the fate of the land.
